I have been a gargoyle and grotesque hunter since April 2023.

Grotesques are stone carvings, often of faces or creatures. Gargoyles are stone carvings with spouts in their mouths to funnel water out of. Every gargoyle is a grotesque, but not every grotesque is a gargoyle. In the West country, they are sometimes called hunkypunks.

Craftsmen who were underpaid by their clients would often carve obscene grotesques depicting arses and penises, as a fuck you to their stingy client. One of these is pictured below
